NB: If X-ray is to be performed on passages of the small intestine this must be done with a probe. This is not offered at Unilabs' departments.

MRI

Not currently performed at all Unilab departments

• Occular blood in faeces after upper and lower GI tract is cleared
• With suspected blockages of the small intestine
• Mb. Crohn

Alternatively, the patient can be referred for capsule endoscopy.
